PSU Science Park strengthens Thailand–Malaysia partnership to advance facilitation networks; launches Thailand's first Facilitators Association
The Regional Science Park, Southern Region (RSP South) at Prince of Songkla University co-hosted the Future of Facilitation Conference 2026 under the theme "High Technology. High Touch. Meaningful Conversations." The event brought together partners from Thailand and Malaysia to strengthen professional facilitation networks and promote international collaboration.
A key highlight of the conference was the signing of a Strategic
Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Thai
Association of Facilitators (TAFa), the Malaysian Association of
Facilitators (MAFa), and RSP South. The agreement aims to foster
collaboration in knowledge exchange, research, curriculum development,
professional training, and partnerships among universities, government
agencies, industry, and international organizations.
This partnership marks an important step in positioning Thailand within
the regional and global facilitation community while supporting the
development of human capital and organizational innovation for the
digital and AI era.

Participants also joined executive panel discussions and interactive workshops covering facilitation in education, leadership development, high-performing teams, and the effective use of AI to support collaboration and organizational learning.
Another major milestone was the official launch of the Thai Association of Facilitators (TAFa)—the country's first professional organization dedicated to advancing the facilitation profession, promoting professional standards, and connecting facilitators nationwide.
The conference reflects Prince of Songkla University's commitment to fostering international partnerships, developing future-ready talent, and strengthening Thailand's innovation ecosystem through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and professional development.
