PSU undergoes institutional internal quality assessment under EdPEx criteria for Academic Year 2025Prince of Songkla University conducted its institutional internal quality assessment under the EdPEx criteria for the 2025 academic year from May 20–22, 2026, at PSU Hat Yai Campus. The assessment aimed to review, monitor, and evaluate the university’s management quality at the institutional level, supporting continuous improvement and long-term organizational development.
The assessment was carried out by a panel of qualified experts divided into three groups, covering interviews, site visits, and a review of the university’s performance across multiple dimensions.
On May 21, the President of PSU welcomed the assessment committee at the Office of the President and via Zoom Meeting. The session included an explanation of the assessment objectives, a university introduction video, and a presentation of PSU’s overall performance.

The committee then conducted interviews with university executives, including the President, vice presidents from all five campuses, vice presidents of various divisions, deans, assistant presidents, directors of institutes and offices, division directors, academic staff, and administrative staff. These interviews provided comprehensive insights into the university’s operations, management systems, and quality development approaches.
The committee also conducted site visits to several units, including the International College, the Faculty of Environmental Management, the Faculty of Law, the Research and Development Office, the Office of Human Resources Development and Social Engagement, and the Office of Scientific Instrument and Testing.
On May 22, the assessment concluded with a closing meeting, where the committee presented preliminary findings, followed by a question-and-answer session and exchange of opinions. The President then expressed appreciation to the committee and officially closed the assessment.
This institutional internal quality assessment serves as an important mechanism for systematically reflecting PSU’s performance, identifying strengths and areas for improvement, and enhancing management efficiency across education, research, academic services, and other key missions.
