PSU AI University On Tour continues at Pattani Campus, advancing document and knowledge management with Generative AI
Following the successful first stop at Surat Thani Campus, Prince of Songkla University continued its drive toward becoming an AI-Enabled University with the second station of PSU AI University On Tour at Pattani Campus. The activity was held from May 18–19, 2026, at the Faculty of Science and Technology.
The event received strong interest from both academic and administrative staff, reflecting the readiness of the PSU Pattani community to adopt artificial intelligence for improving work efficiency and organizational development.
The key focus of this training was “Intelligent Document and Knowledge Management with Generative AI,” highlighting how Generative AI can support the management of large volumes of university documents and knowledge. The technology can help search, analyze, and synthesize complex information more efficiently, reducing traditional paperwork and allowing staff to focus more on strategic, value-added work.
Another highlight was the hands-on workshop using dotBLUE Agent Builder, where participants learned to create specialized AI Agents without requiring advanced programming skills. Examples included AI Tutors that can support student inquiries around the clock, as well as AI tools for screening and managing documents.
This initiative marks another important step in enhancing internal management and educational services at Pattani Campus, while also creating potential benefits for communities in the lower southern region through faster, more accurate, and responsible knowledge-based services.
PSU will continue bringing this innovation-driven initiative to the next station at Phuket Campus, further expanding AI learning and staff capacity development across the university.
