PSU strengthens governance through workshop on Transparent Asset Management
Prince of Songkla University, through its Legal Office, organized a workshop titled “Strengthening Integrity and Transparency in University Asset Management” from May 4-6, 2026, in Krabi Province.
The workshop aimed to enhance knowledge and improve asset management practices to ensure transparency, fairness, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with good governance principles.
A total of 58 personnel responsible for procurement and asset management from faculties, campuses, and university units participated in the program.
The training covered key areas such as asset registration, borrowing,
usage, return procedures, and annual inventory inspections, ensuring
that all units operate consistently, lawfully, transparently, and
efficiently.
Participants also took part in workshop sessions to exchange ideas and develop practical guidelines, procedures, and criteria that can be applied systematically across their respective units.
This initiative serves as another important mechanism in raising PSU’s asset management standards, supporting efficient and sustainable resource management under the principles of integrity, transparency, and good governance.
