PSU partners with the Department of Local Administration to develop professional local government personnel
Prince of Songkla University signed an academic cooperation agreement with the Department of Local Administration to enhance curriculum quality, training programs, and academic seminars aimed at strengthening the knowledge, skills, and competencies of local government personnel.
This collaboration will support the development of professional capabilities among staff of local administrative organizations and the Department of Local Administration, enabling them to work more effectively in line with the demands of modern public administration.
Under this agreement, PSU’s Faculty of Management Sciences will coordinate academic activities and personnel development efforts with the Local Personnel Development Institute.
The partnership reflects PSU’s role as a higher education institution committed to supporting local development and strengthening human capital in the public sector. By connecting academic knowledge, research, and management expertise with local personnel development, the initiative aims to improve public administration and create tangible, long-term benefits for communities.
