Songkran 2026: PSU preserves Songkran traditions, promotes Thai cultural values
Prince of Songkla University, Hatyai Campus, organized the “Songkran Tradition Preservation 2026” event on April 9, 2026. The event aimed to promote and preserve Thai cultural traditions, uphold national heritage, and strengthen relationships among administrative staff from central support units of the university.
The event was attended by university executives, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, President of the University, along with a large number of staff members.
Activities included the ceremonial bathing of Buddha images, a religious ceremony, and the traditional water-pouring ritual to seek blessings from senior executives and respected personnel. The atmosphere was warm and harmonious, reflecting strong unity and collaboration among staff from various departments.
