PSU welcomes representative from University of Novi Sad, Serbia




From 3-10 March 2026, Prince of Songkla University (PSU) welcomed Mr. Filip Marinković, Project Officer from the International Relations Office of the University of Novi Sad (UNS), Republic of Serbia. The event is part of an Erasmus+ KA171 Program (Staff Mobility for Training), which aims to facilitate study visits and the exchange of experiences, particularly in the areas of international relations and the internationalization strategies of both universities.



On 4 March 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wongkot Phuphumirat, Assistant President for International Affairs, together with the staff of the Global Affairs Office, warmly welcomed Mr. Marinković. The discussion focused on internationalization strategies, the promotion of student and staff mobility, and the development of collaborative projects under the Erasmus+ framework and other bilateral agreements between the two universities. The meeting took place at the President’s Office Building.



During his stay, the UNS representative visited several PSU faculties that maintain ongoing collaboration with the Serbian university, including the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Liberal Arts. They discussed further cooperation and student exchange opportunities in areas of mutual academic strength. In addition, the delegate also visited PSU Pattani Campus and explored potential areas of cooperation at the campus level.


This visit marks another important step in strengthening the partnership between Prince of Songkla University and the University of Novi Sad, paving the way for continued development of exchange programs, joint research, and international academic activities in the future.
