PSU Global Affairs launches 'Dream, Fly, Learn Webinar Series' to empower students for the global stage
Prince of Songkla University, by the Global Affairs and Corporate Communication Center, organized a special online lecture series titled “Dream, Fly, Learn”: Exploring the World for Your Next Study Abroad Journey Webinar Series via Zoom Meeting from February 20-24, 2026.
The event aimed to prepare and inspire students interested in pursuing further education abroad and participating in international exchange programs, attracting a large number of participants from all 5 campuses.
The activities featured distinguished guest speakers from abroad who shared their real-life experiences regarding educational opportunities, international programs, living abroad, and guidelines for pre-departure preparation. The webinar series consisted of 3 sessions, as follows:
The session on "Russian Federation," held on February 20, 2026, was honored by Mr. Alexander Sidorov, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Thailand, who lectured on the topic "Study in Russia: Programs and Opportunities for Thai Applicants." Additionally, Dr. Mikhail Vlasov from Altai State Pedagogical University, Russia, gave a presentation on the topic "Between the City and the Summits: The Perfect Balance for Learning the Russian Language and Multicultural Altai."
The session on "United Arab Emirates (UAE)," held on February 23, 2026, shared perspectives on education in Dubai—a global city filled with academic and professional opportunities. The session featured Dr. Sreejith Balasubramanian from Middlesex University Dubai, who lectured on the topic "Dubai Calling! Study in a Global City of Opportunity."
The session on the "Commonwealth of Australia," held on February 24, 2026, presented educational experiences, lifestyle, and self-development in Perth—one of the ideal cities for international students. The session featured Dr. Min Teah from Curtin University, Australia, who lectured on the topic "Perth Experience: Study, Live, and Grow in Australia."
Throughout the event, participants received in-depth information regarding popular educational destinations, application guidelines, scholarships, daily life, and cultural adjustment abroad. Additionally, students had the opportunity to exchange ideas and ask questions directly to the speakers, which helped build confidence for their future international educational journeys.
