PSU welcomes University of Hyogo Vice President to strengthen international academic cooperation
On 24 June 2025, PSU Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Relations Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot warmly welcomed Prof. Dr. Ikuya Kano, Vice President of the University of Hyogo, Japan, at PSU’s Hat Yai Campus.
Dr. Thakerng extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Kano on his
recent appointment as Vice President of the University of Hyogo. He also
emphasized the strong and growing partnership between the two
institutions, which has been further strengthened following the signing
of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2024.
The visit aimed to deepen academic collaboration between the two universities, with discussions focusing on three key areas: student exchange, international internships, and visiting professor programs. These areas are expected to bring mutual benefits to students and faculty members from both institutions.
PSU appreciates opportunities to conduct productive discussions with its valued partners from the University of Hyogo, in order to produce tangible outcomes in the future.
