Prioritise pedestrian access on campus
PSU prioritizes pedestrian-first access with an extensive sidewalk network: approximately 1,729.5 m of covered walkways and 8,569.5 m of uncovered paths link key academic and service areas, offering safe, comfortable routes in all weather. In FY2025, the university added ~345.5 m of new covered walkway near the Faculty of Management Sciences and along the Learning Resource Center frontage, with additional state-budget allocations in FY2025–2026 to extend coverage across education zones. These investments enhance safety, accessibility, and walkability for students and staff, reinforcing a healthy, people-centered campus.
