Host events at university that are open to the general public: executive education programmes (this refers to short courses for people who are not attending the university; this specifically excludes courses like MBA) and/or vocational training
Prince of Songkla University, through the Halal Institute, organized an orientation for the “Halal Logistics Management Program, Batch 1.” The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Jumpol Chuenjit-siri, Vice President for Legal Affairs and Academic Services. Assistant Professor Dr. Asman Tae-ali, Director of the Halal Institute, delivered the report. The event was attended by university executives, staff, and participants of the program. It took place at EILA Room 6, 8th Floor, Khunying Long Learning Resources Building, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus, on June 12, 2024.

Teacher Professional Development Seminar
The Faculty of Education, PSU (Pattani Campus), in collaboration with eight institutions under the Southern Teacher Education Network, organized the “Teacher Development Seminar for Local Educational Advancement – Cohort 7 (Appointed 2022)” from 22–23 June 2024
The short-course seminar was designed for in-service and newly appointed teachers, focusing on strengthening professional teaching competencies and educational research skills. The programme included lectures and workshops such as:
- “Learning Management for 21st Century Competency Development” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatree Faikamta, Kasetsart University.
- “Understanding Students, Teachers, and Classrooms” by Mr. Sainub S.A., Educational Specialist, Yala.
- “Networking and Collaboration for Local Teacher Development” by Dr. Withoon Metajit and team.
- “Workshop on Writing and Publishing Academic Articles” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Juta Thammachat, PSU Pattani.
This programme aimed to equip teachers with modern educational perspectives, research-based teaching practices, and the ability to connect classroom learning with community contexts, particularly in the multicultural southern region of Thailand.
