Metric: Commitment to carbon neutral university
Prince of Songkla University has been driving the institution towards sustainable development in line with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations (UN). These are global goals for sustainable development from 2015 to 2030, and they align with the agreements from the 24th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP24), which aim to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 in order to keep the global average temperature increase below 1.5 degrees Celsius.
