The United Nations has set 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming to eradicate poverty while safeguarding the environment and the quality of life for all living creatures on Earth. Specifically, SDG 14 (Life Below Water) focuses on the conservation and sustainable use of oceans, seas, and marine resources. The goal addresses issues such as pollution, management, conservation of fishery resources, equitable access to fisheries, and the impacts of climate change.
To align with SDG 14 and support the sustainable conservation and utilization of oceans, seas, and marine resources, Prince of Songkla University has implemented the following measures:
            1. Prevent, stop, and reduce the disposal of waste, chemicals, and garbage resulting from activities within the university that could contribute to marine pollution of any kind.
            2. Ensure that resources harvested from aquatic ecosystems, including rivers, streams, ponds, lakes, seas, and oceans, used for food production within the university, are obtained through sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
