Southern Natural Disaster Research Center, Prince of Songkla University
Objectives:
- To serve as a center for collecting primary data on disasters such as floods, landslides, riverbank erosion, and other natural hazards, as well as long-term and continuous data on climate change in Southern Thailand.
- To function as a research center on floods, landslides, and other disasters, including disaster management, by analyzing, assessing, and developing models to support management and problem-solving.
- To disseminate and publicize information and research related to natural disasters conducted by Prince of Songkla University.
- To serve as a learning and training center on natural disasters in Southern Thailand.
Strategies:
- To conduct research on natural disasters and coordinate and promote research by PSU researchers to ensure high quality and credibility.
- To serve as a learning center on natural disasters in Southern Thailand.
